Gowing up in Alcoa, Tennessee, I gained respect for the working men and women who built this great country. While working my way through the University of Tennessee by working at the local aluminum plant, I developed a keen sense that our civil justice system is the arena where citizens can participate in their government and have access to justice for all.

Over the past forty years I have been privileged to represent folks, or their representatives, who were injured due to the negligence of some one else or a corporation.

The first portion of my career I defended insurance companies and corporations. This previous work for the insurance industry and corporations has given me extensive experience in how injury claims are defended, adjusted, evaluated, and settled by the responsible parties.
